Dear Families,
My name is Ms. Eiliesha Lambright and I will be teaching your child’s kindergarten class this year. I have high hopes to involve the parents/caregivers of my students as much as possible and to keep you informed and up to date with classroom activities, goals and expectations on a regular basis.
I attended High school in Boerne, Texas, started college in San Antonio, followed by the completion of my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teacher Education Program certificate at Tarleton State University. I chose to become a teacher because I love children and the intrinsic rewards that come with teaching them valuable lessons. The reward I get when I can tell I have helped a child master a concept is priceless.
As a teacher, I will ensure all my students get the resources and support they need so that every student receives equal opportunities and the same learning experiences. One important idea I like to keep in mind is to make any and all mistakes and failed attempts into learning opportunities.
This year we will be taking a field trip to the local art museum, theater and zoo to get an authentic experience related to our classroom lessons. Parents are more than welcome to join. More information will be available on my website and sent home closer to the dates of each event. I am looking forward to getting everyone I can involved and excited about learning!
Sincerely,
Eiliesha Lambright
